“Pictures are not true to the room I had. Shower faucet you didn’t want to touch while in shower scolding hot. Light flickered in bathroom because of moisture on wires. Bathroom need to be cleaned better. No microwave if there was it probably would’ve been dirty. Not what I expected from photos.”

“The front desk and housekeeping staff were great. The pool area was not great. There was no slide and the pool underneath the skeleton of the slide was gross. The rooms were clean, but everything was pretty old.”

“Staff rude, Cancelled trip, was charged anyway. This is the second time that I have been charged for a cancelled reservation. OK, so even if the cancellation did not go through, I was charged for 2 nights, typically, when there is a no show and this is a multiple night stay one night is charged.”

“This is a peaceful, and quiet lovely resort with fabulous views of the Mackinac bridge and island from the spacious balconies. It's very clean, in part due to the no pet and no smoking policy, which is wonderful! The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The evening fires on the beach with S'mores provided, are a huge hit, and Rosston is so helpful and friendly. We had a wonderful time, and plan to return. However there are a few small deficiencies that prevent me from giving 5...

“The breakfast was nice. The room was clean and spacious. Great location to stay if you are going to visit Mackinaw Island. They had a free shuttle service to and from the ferry so you didn’t have to pay for parking at the ferry.”

“The outside of the building needed cleaning and maintenance. The two sets of stairs were filthy. We had a broken plastic chair on our deck. The door handle leading out to our balcony was broken. We had two pieces of plastic to use to pull the door open. “Breakfast Included” meant coffee and muffins. The motel was very close to the ferry terminal so we were able to walk over there and the motel had discount tickets.”

“Our stay at Crooked River Lodge was amazing!!! The pool and hot tub for adults is open 24 hours! Everything is super clean and the staff is super friendly! We loved our stay here and will definitely be back!!!”

“The room was overall clean. The pool and hot tub were pretty clean, the second time we used it they had just treated it with chlorine without notice so it was irritating to sit there. There was confusion with the front desk when we went to purchase tickets for the fort, they told us they didn't sell them, but we were given discounted price sheet when we checked in. It was in a great location, close to downtown. It was a decent place to stay on a budge, probably would stay again.”
